  • The Journal of Animal Production is one of the leading journals in the field of animal and poultry sciences in the country. Since 2010, this journal publishes research and review papers in the areas of animal and poultry science, bees, feed technology and livestock products in Persian with a extended abstract in English and Persian.

 

  • According to the country's scientific journal regulations approved by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology on April 22, 2019, to protect the intellectual property rights of researchers and authors of scientific manuscripts and prevent the publication of duplicate manuscripts, this journal uses Peer Finder software called Hamtajoo.

 

  • This journal respects the rules of ethics in journals and is subject to the rules of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the implementing regulations of the Act on the Prevention and Combating of Fraud in Scientific Papers.

 

  • Referring to the “Ordinance on determining the costs of processing an manuscript in scientific open access journals” with notification number 162229 of April 21, 2021 and letter number 40879 of May 14, 2022 from the Honorable Scientific Deputy of the Ministry of Science, the Cost of editing an manuscript in the Journal of Animal Production was estimated at 6,000,000 Rials (600,000 Tomans), of which 2,000,000 Rials (200,000 Tomans) were received after the review and for the granting of the first (scientific) acceptance and the amount of 4,000,000 Rials (400,000 Tomans) was received before the official publication of the manuscript. By activating the electronic payment option (Shetab Network) on the journal's website, authors can pay the mentioned costs directly through the journal's system
